Super Chunky Monkeys: Yours Clothing

Hey Loves!

How’re you all? Feeling festively rested? Ready for a new year? I hope so! I won’t talk about Christmas. Let’s talk clothes!

There are many of us plus size bloggers on the scene now and each of us has our very own unique bit of space. Mine is my little haven to talk to you about all things fatshionably fat and fabulous, especially for those of us on the extra fat side.

I make no secret of my size, that’s what I’m here for right? I’d say I’m a comfortable UK size 30, and I can wear items ranging from a size UK 26 right up to a UK size 36 depending on style, cut, material, how I want the garment to look etc etc. However whilst the smaller sized items are easier to find, larger ones are more and more difficult. Cue Yours Clothing. I have been using the brand for a couple of years now and have always found them great value for money and their ranges have gotten more and more on trend as the plus size market becomes more competitive. Yours typically advertise themselves as a UK size 14-32 retailer with the majority of their items being available in those sizes, however they do also offer a few plus size clothing items in UK size 34-36!
The guys over at Yours were kind enough to offer me a few pieces to review that are available in their extended size range and I was really pleased to play dress up. I chose two of the items in a size 30-32 and one of them in a 34-36. First up is the Gold Leopard Printed Hanky Hem Tunic, which I requested in a size 30-32. I went out for a catch up with some of my lovelies on boxing day and as I’d spent the whole of Christmas day in my onesie (soon to be reviewed!) I felt I needed to make a bit of an effort on boxing day, a casual outfit but with a small hint of trade mark Naomi glam(?)…

Leopard Print Tunic – £15 Yours Clothing (on sale)
Wet Look Leggings – ASOS Curve
Eyelash Cardigan – New Look Inspire
Black Suede Flats – New Look
Bag – H&M (old)
Now I know, I know! Most of us fierce fatties would rather burn than wear a dreaded hanky hemmed garment but for me, personally, as somebody who doesn’t like the whole VBO* look then they work well on my shape. Paired with this chunky cardigan and leggings I actually think it looks alright! I really like this top, so comfy and if put together with the right items looks really on trend. When does a wet look legging not make something look awesome? Come on!

Whilst their offerings in that size range are quite limited at the moment, all it takes is for word to get out and demand to increase and I’m sure over time the brand may be able to offer more pieces to us on the extra chunky side! Keep your eyes peeled as I do have a couple of other things to show you from the range including an awesome onesie! Oh yes I do!
So, if you are a super chunky, fierce fatty (like moi!) Make sure you check out the items in the range, and don’t forget, if you’re treating yourself use my special code ‘BLOGGER1’ for £10 off a £20 spend*

BIG LOVE
XOXOXOX

I'm so glad to have found your blog! You and I are a very similar size and shape, and it's great to see what so many different styles on you. I'm very guilty of the legging/hanky hem tunic combo. It's so comfy though! Have you ever bought Joe Browns stuff? There are a couple of dresses I have my eye on but having it shipped to Canada means it has to fit. Returns are just too expensive.

Ok, distracted by the littles and part of that comment made no sense! What I meant to say was that seeing you in different styles and trends gives me great ideas about outfits I'd like to try. :)Also I didn't realize that hanky hems were a fashion no-no. Too boring? Not edgy enough?
