Evans Marble Arch Store Launch...

My Lovelies!

I'm still around, I've had an ultra busy few weeks as usual. I will fill you in properly soonish but I just wanted to quickly update you on the new Evans flagship store which has opened on Oxford Street opposite their old Marble Arch location.

The lovely folk of Evans held an evening partnered with Look magazine to show off their new home and I have to say it looks mighty fine! I had been to the old Marble Arch store a couple of times and always thought it just wasn't big enough and bold enough to be their main store so was very pleased to hear it was getting a revamp.

Beautiful lighting, high ceilings, lots of space to wander around and the staff are AMAZING! I honestly mean that, the girls who helped me last night just couldn't have been friendlier, without being too in your face, thanks so much ladies! The other thing I am excited about with Evans at the moment is their massive push on their shoe collection. They are really trying to pull out the stops with their footwear just recently and I have a few little beauties to show you very soon!

I have to admit, I also made a cheeky purchase whilst I was there (well how could I resist the discount!) and picked up this little red skater dress which I have had my eye on for a while and I'm actually hoping to dress it up this evening, especially after spotting Jennifer Ellison sporting one very similiar on TV this afternoon, gave me some outfit inspiration indeed!

It's a Nice Day for a White Wedding....

Hola Lovelies!

I just wanted to post some pictures from my weekend! It was the much anticipated wedding of my best Sazzle-Pop friend! It's official, she has now left the single girl fold and gone and got married to a boy!!! I am thrilled for her and she looked absolutely amazing, the whole thing made me incredibly emotional, I now very much want to wear a big white dress and be the centre of attention for the day (forget the bloke! HAHA!).

What did I wear? Well, I specifically purchased a gorgeous Simply Be dress a few months ago for the special day as when I saw it pop up online I knew it was the one to make me feel fabulous! I always say it, but as far as I'm concerned, when it comes to an 'occasion' dress it's Simply Be all the way for me. The dress was £69 and it is still available on the website, a little pricey but totally worth it as I felt amazing in it and got so many compliments! I also picked up this awesome fascinator from eBay for around a tenner including postage, felt very dramatic in it and the clutch has fast become one of my favourites, such a bargain Matalan purchase!

As the day was split into two parts, a traditional church ceremony in the afternoon then onto the wedding reception at a beautiful location later that day I did make the most of it and wear two outfits. I got to pull out my favourite LucieLu dress which you saw in this post not so long ago! So a day of celebrating, getting dressed up and eating cake! Perfect! Can someone else get married now please? Thanks......

Clements Ribeiro Autumn/Winter 2012

Ello lovelies!

So today is the day of the release of the second phase of the Evans collaboration with design duo Clements Ribeiro.

I was kindly invited to go for a sneaky look at the range last week at Evans HQ and although all of it isn't to my taste, I love a number of the pieces and am especially in love with the styling of it. I rushed online this morning to see it in it's full glory and I just lusted at how all the pieces could be mixed and matched to pull each other together with ease. Really bold statement pieces which clash so beautifully but can be worn separately to create a much more elegant look.

I know, I know, a few of you are going to spot a cheeky little number in these pics which has had a few of us awaiting it's release for a while. The gold and black dress was something I fell in love with when I went along to the first preview of this range a few months ago back in March and unfortunately it didn't make its debut in that collection, so when I saw it on the rails this time around I was like 'Come on guys, stop teasing us with this one, when is it out?!' It's not online in the today's launch either but I am told it is coming along in the next drop of the collection in October ready for you to start saving for it to be your Chrimbo party dress, I know it's gonna be mine! So lets all keep each other posted on this one yeah ladies?

Anyway, go check out the range! It's pretty awesome! I'm off to go and do some swanning around London town again! Will report back laters!
