I just wanted to post to say a massive thank you to al

I hope that in the new year I can continue to interact with you all, and bring you some more of my randomness, more outfits and more power and acceptance to the plus sized community!

With that, here is my little, simple Chrimbo outfit of the day and my new wrist candy! Thanks bro for buying me my fabulous much longed for Thomas Sabo br

As usual I am clad in a bit of New Look Inspire (just for a change aye!). The lacy topped tunic is something I actually bought months ago an
d I must have forgotten about it until I did a little clear out recently and found it in the back of my wardrobe still with tags on! *whoops*. For Christmas day comfort, a simple pair of black leggings, my go to sparkly black cardigan and Primark flats made my day....

OOTD Feeling Tweet! New Look Inspire Swallow Dress!

Evenin' lovelies!

So, it's nearly Xmas and we're all spending our hard earned pennies on all those lovely gifts to make our loved ones happy, well, kind of. I had a little splurge yesterday in my current favourite place to shop, New Look Inspire. I don't really know what came over me? Oh actually, yeh I do, pretty dresses and cute shoes on sale, what self respecting girl can resist?

So I purchased the really cute Swallow Print Dress and I am a little bit in love with it. I wore it out last night for some Kissmas drinks with my Grand Theatre crew, little bit sad that I didn't get chance to take it dancing as it was a school night and I did have to be at work at 8am this morning, so it made a swift exit with me after 2 bottles of wine and lots of giggles!

I was a bit rushed for time getting ready as I felt a bit guilt ridden after treating myself, so I promptly went and bought pressies for other people, see I am a good girl really! So I ended up throwing the dress on with black tights, my fave, ultra comfy New Look suede wedges, the belt nicked off my other recent New Look Inspire purchase as seen here and some old accessories I've had for agessssssssssss!!! Looks alright I reckon, what you think? (Please excuse the outgrowing Gelux nails, getting them redone this weekend!)

I also picked up 2 pairs of cute flats in wide fit for bargain prices this cute red patent bow pair and a nude pink pair with sparkly toes which I can't seem to find online but I will get pics for ya!

I also recently mentioned on my Twitter that I was after a pair of leopard print leggings. I found a pair a fab leopard jeggings in the Inspire range, I had previously noticed them online but disregarded them as I thought they would never fit me in the waist, but I was surprised when I spotted them in store and tried them on to find that they are super stretchy, a great print, but unfortunately they aren't fitted enough in the leg for me, they fit perfectly at the waist in a size Uk 26 (which I am blatantly larger than) but they are too baggy in the thigh and leg, so I am going to be returning them :( *booooooooooo* just goes to show how diverse we all are in shape!

Anyway, it's nearly 11pm on Christmas eve, eve! I am currently bopping around my kitchen to random tunes including this little number that has got me right in the festive mood! My 2011 Christmas tune pick, The Waitresses, Christmas Wrapping! Enjoy.....

OOTD Keeping it Neutral with OneStopPlus Uk

Evenin' lovelies!

It's getting ever closer to Kissmas, are we all excited? I hope you've all been very good boys and girls! :)

So, I have been meaning to do an outfit of the day review of this lovely little dress gifted to me by OneStopPlus Uk for a few weeks now. I was asked if I fancied reviewing another item for them and of course, I said yes! I thought this time I would choose something that I would never usually go for. I opted for the Duel Fabric Dress from the Taillissime range in taupe. The dress is a combination of jersey and cotton panels all finished off with a really cute little macrame trim.

I popped the dress on with my We Love Colors tights in Maroon, some cute strappy ankle boots that I had just received from Simply Be and a little black cardigan.

Duel Fabric Dress - £45 Taillissime @ OneStopPlus Uk
Maroon tights - $9 We Love Colors
Strappy Ankle Boots - £24 Simply Be
Black Cardigan - New Look Inspire (few years old)
...and yes, the Gryffindor scarf is mine! PRICELESS!

This is a very casual outfit for me I feel. Even Mr Naomi commented on how toned down this was, I think it was due to the colours that I had put together, most of my outfits are usually full of prints, or colours or are generally quite blingy (as I can't resist a sparkle!) but this was full of muted hews and the only real pop of colour was from those oh so gorgeous tights!

I do really like the dress, although I must admit, I feel it is probably a bit highly priced for me for what it is. It is well made, and the material is really nice, the 3 quarter length sleeves make it perfect to wear in cooler months aswell as warmer months but the one thing that I think has really thrown me with it is the bust area. Although this dress is a UK 28-30 I found the bust portion which is meant to kinda sit underneath the boobage kept riding up on me, I imagine that this is due to having a rather large set of melons and that can't be helped, but it just made me feel a little bit uncomfortable as I was having to tug it down quite a lot.

Let me get onto those amazing We Love Colors tights!!!! I don't have to remind you of my constant battle with the plus size hosiery world, it never fails to disappoint me, well STOP.THE.PRESS I am sold! I bought 3 pairs of tights from the US site and I have to admit, with postage and customs charges all in all 3 pairs of tights have cost me a shade under £50 but I am not kidding you when I say it is probably the best £50 I have ever spent! They fit beautifully, I can pull them right up without there being any sagging around the ankles, they are comfy and the colour of the maroon is so sumptuous (pics don't do it justice but trust me!! AMAZE!). Seriously, if you have issues like I do and you can muster together a few quid extra then do it, purchase some, I can honestly say you will not regret the We Love Colors experience!

The Simply Be ankle boots are an absolute steal girls! Get em whilst they are available, they are leather and have been reduced from £60 to £24!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know! At the time of writing this they have low stock on the black but have lots available in the tan and they are wide fit! I have to admit, I am sending mine back, but this is only because they are slightly too big on me in the 6 and they are too small in the 5! I must have awkward feet! *booooooo* :(

Lastly, I just wanted to thank the OneStopPlus UK team for supporting my blog over the past 12 months, this is the last post I will be writing for them for 2011 but hope to be doing more in 2012! I was very new to blogging when OneStopPlus UK first contacted me to work with them and I still am really and very far from being one of the well known bloggers on the block, so I was thrilled that they gave me the opportunity me to review for them, I really appreciate you letting me work with you, thanks alot guys and have a great Xmas!!

So, in other news, from now until the 3rd January we have casual dress day every day at work, now this is great, but having to find something to wear everyday is going to be a chore, and, don't hold me to this, but I am going to try and do and outfit post of what I throw on each day, *Eeeeekkkkkk* lets see how it goes, until then guys,

BIG LOVE!

OOTD Simple Sunday Stripes! New Look Inspire Skater Dress!

Evenin' All!

I realise I have been a little on the quiet side. I have been busy doing Christmassy type things and catching up with special people!

Last weekend I headed down to the capital to do some festive partying with my favourite southerners! In the midst of shopping for party frocks in good ol' Vivien of Holloway on Saturday afternoon, we discovered we all had Monday off, which was an excuse to do some Sunday night drinking!

I had only really taken enough to wear for Saturday evening and travelling home on Sunday night so I took a trip to Brent Cross with my Lorna face friend and picked up this little stripey skater number from New Look Inspire....

Biker Jacket - Evans
Shoes, Necklace, Earrings - Primark
Too many apple sourz shots - Priceless!!!!!

I love cute little skater cut dresses, and I was really pleased to see that the sweet salmon pink skinny belt which came with the dress actually fit! I have bought items from New Look Inspire in the past which have included belts which have never fit me, even though the actual garment is properly sized, so a welcomed surprise to find that this one actually did! As I was a bit thin on clothes I just kept it simple with some black leggings, my little pointy diamante Primark flats and some Primark bling! Simple Sunday Stripes!

I have to say I am quite the fan of New Look Inspire, and have been for a long time. I know, the range isn't necessarily groundbreaking but it is one of the few places I can usually always find something I like. I would like to see the sizing of the range extended, lots of stretchy jersey fabrics make it possible for me to wear this range which caters up to a UK size 26, although I am blatantly larger than that, but I would love to see it cater to a UK 28-30 (heres hoping!). I would also love to see the range promoted more, I find that New Look as a brand pretty much ostracises it's Inspire label and very rarely plugs it via its social media outlets or through its own in house advertising. The use of plus size bloggers would really push Inspire I feel. I know of recent, a few plus size bloggers have been contacted by the Inspire buying team to provide feedback on the range, heres hoping their opinions are utilised so we can see a positive change to the range so it lives on!

In the meantime, I still love you Inspire! :)

All that Glitters! Avon Nailwear Pro Sparkle and Shine!

Evenin' My lovelies!

What's this? Another post! I know, I know! Well I thought, what the heck, it's Friday night and I'm not going out, I have work in the morning and the only things that have put a smile on my face today are the glittery goodies I have acquired!

I ordered a couple of nail polishes from Avon about a week ago and they arrived today. They are all sparkly and pretty so I had to share them with you! I have painted my nails in the Nailwear Pro Sparkle and Shine 'Sequinned Turqoise' it's really easy to apply, it does unfortunately take a while to dry completely but you could get away with just one coat, however I have applied two coats on this occasion as I couldn't get enough of the sparkle!

Sequinned Turquoise

I'm really impressed with this polish, I love the colour it's fab for the party season and is really eye-catching. I am yet to try the 'Dynamo' but I'm hoping it's as fabulous as this one!

Also today, I caved in and made a cheeky purchase from the jewellery stall which comes to my work place every now and then. I have seen these super little bracelets all over the place at the moment and a friend of mine recently purchased one of the very swish Tresor Paris ones (which unfortunately is way out of my budget), but this little number for £25 has made my Friday much better!

Between sparkly wrist-wear and sparkly nail candy I am satisfied with a cosy night in admiring my little purchases!

What are you all upto with you weekends? Doing fabulous things I hope!?!

Big Love
