Ramblings and rantings! ***Long post!***

Evening All!

I just wanted to write a quick post and just check in with you all again. I feel like I've disconnected a little bit over the last few weeks and lost that personal touch.

I don't know whether its because I haven't really been up to anything exciting to tell you about or life has just been a bit vanilla (you know what I mean,
when its just ok, you probably wouldn't choose it, but if its the only thing available you will fill the void with it, ya know?)

I have been stuck in my little bubble of get up, go to work, go home, go to bed and repeat cycle and this makes me very disappointed with myself! I can't even say I have been particularly dressed up at any point either to be able to give you a decent outfit post! I'm stuck in that weird limbo of 'summer has blatantly ended, the autumn is kinda coming, but WTF do I wear?' I dunno, I just can't get it down. I am, again, totally uninspired with my wardrobe (I get like this being a typical Lib
ra!) and as you will have noticed from my recent eBay sale post, am in the process of having a bit of a clear out.

Talking bout having a clear out, have you checked out the Fat Swap Shop put together by A Monkey Fatshionista?
This is gonna be a great way to update your wardrobe on the cheap! As they say, one woman's junk is anothers treasure! Even Simply Be have been kind enough to donate some end of line stock to the event so it'd definitely be worth a nosey!

Hmmmmmm any other business....

Well, I recently had a rant on Twitter about Next reducing the sizing of their online plus size range, I would usu
ally link to any plus retailers but I am rather angered by this. It seems just as the plus size world is making some very small leaps and bounds (and when I say very small leaps and bounds boy do I mean it!) they cut back in places that I just cannot understand! Next's online plus range used to cater up to a UK size 28, after going over to their page recently for a nosey for an outfit for my birthday weekend I noticed that every item I clicked on seemed to stop at a size 26. I just couldn't understand where all the size 28 stuff had gone. I took to twitter to ask around, the response confirmed my fears. Yes, indeed, Next had reduced their plus range and knocked offering a size 28 on the head, well thanks Next, just thanks!

I have been meaning to contact Next and ask what they're reasoning was behind this decision, I am yet to get on it, but no doubt it will consist of the usual 'Well, it just doesnt sell....etc, etc, blah blah blah.'
Now, I have to say, I, probably like so many other plus sizers for a very long time never had any idea that Next even stocked up to a size 28! It was just one of those miraculous things I discovered one day whilst on the off chance browsing their website. Why did I not know they used to stock to a size 28? Well, d'uh, it was never advertised! Now Next, tell me why your plus size stuff didn't/doesn't sell?! Why do these retailers never put it out there? Encourage us to go and buy their wares? Is it because they are worried about being tarred with that oh so terrible 'But you are promoting obesity!!' label? I dunno, I have absolutely no idea, but other retailers whom also stock an extended plus line are Florence & Fred at Tesco, again one which is pretty much NEVER advertised! Now I may be totally off the mark here, but when I put clothes on eBay, I can guarantee stuff in larger sizes sell like hot cakes! Is it because of the more affordable price range? Or is it because clothing at the higher end of plus size is just so damned hard to get? From my own personal experience of scouring eBay for clothes in larger plus size, I am doing it because my options are so limited that I am forced to go to these other avenues to try and find stuff that is gonna fit.

I hones
tly have no resolution to this rant, I just don't know where the failings are, if it is with the consumers or if it is with the retailers? But unfortunately I do not see it getting any better in the near future. With the knowledge that a certain major UK high street plus retailer will be honing their market to an older, more mature audience who have no plans in the near future of looking to extend the sizing range on their younger, focused online store(whom stop at a size 26), it seems to be pretty much the sign of things to come. I really do hope that someone, somewhere starts instilling my confidence in the plus size clothing market because right now I am so bummed out by it.

So this is my plea....

Make a fat girl happy and make me some threads!!!!!!!!

Ebay sale! Check it out and buy my shiz!

Evening guys!

Hope you are all having nice relaxed Bank Holiday weekends! I have been a good girl and instead of going mental and spending lots of monies, I have decided to have another eBay sale to make some pennies for the up and coming Autumn/Winter wardrobe I'm gonna want!

So go have a nosey at my wares! Included is a Beth Ditto dress, an ASOS Curve lace tunic and a really fun Yours Clothing ruffle skirt!
Sizes range from a Uk 24-Uk28.

If my postage prices seem high, I apologise, but due to having very bad luck with past buyer
s I will now only ship recorded delivery, it's safer for both parties that way...

Just a few of the items......

Big Love!

Eliza Parker....WANT!

I hate to keep filling my blog up with shiz that I just want and absolutely cannot afford, but I was having a little nosey around the t'interwebs and spotted this oh so feminine little number by Eliza Parker.

I have to admit I had never heard of the brand before until it came up on an advert on a website I was on, but I do like the cut of these classic pieces.

This A-Line dress is a win!

So, who loves me enough to purchase it for me????

Oh, also the very beautiful Fluvia Lacerda is their model! Fabulous!

Annie Haak & The Pink Ribbon Foundation

Hi Guys!

For any of you out there who are jewellery lovers, I thought I would point you in the direction of Annie Haak Designs. Silver jewellery is my fave and after having a good old nosey around the Annie Haak Designs website there are now lots of items on my up and coming birthday wish list! (I say up and coming, its not until the 25th September *wink*).

I also heard recently that Annie Haak are collaborating with The Pink Ribbon Foundation and have designed a really cute Tali bracelet to help raise money for the charity.

The Tiny Tali Bracelet is going to be released for October which is breast cancer awareness month and will retail at £29. They beauty of this is that 50% of profits made from the bracelet will be donated to The Pink Ribbon Foundation. So if you are going to treat yourself feel good in the knowledge that your money is also going to a great cause!

Yours Clothing Playing Dress up!

Hi Lovelies!

Hope you are all having fabulous weekends! In usual Naomi Sunday style I am nursing a hangover, but instead of being totally hopeless I had a bit of a playing dress up sesh in some awesome pieces that the lovely guys at Yours Clothing sent me to review! I chose 2 gorgeous maxi dresses, how could I not, Yours never fail to produce a fabulous maxi so it was the good and proper thing to do in this instance! I also asked to try a pair of palazzo's as I am still on the hunt for my perfect pair, and last but not least a cross over style Kate Middleton style dress!

The
floral palazzo's I chose are fab, comfy, cool and so on trend! They're a bit long on me though unfortunately (im 5,4), I am actually wearing 4 inch wedge heels in these pics and they are still hiding my feet, but I love them all the same! It was nice to find a pair that actually had a lovely comfy elasticated waistband too, I've tried a couple of pairs recently from Simply Be and have been majorly disappointed at the zip and button closure as I felt it ruined the fit and the flowyness of them, so they were sent back, but these from Yours are superb!

The leopard maxi, oh my, I am a sucker for a leopard print, as I have mentioned once or twice before, if Bette Lynch had a short, fat, brunette, non-smoking sister, it'd be moi! For real! This dress, I love so hard, but it really is a bit long on myself, and even with my humongous boobies there was still extra room to get another small pair in with me! HAHA!

The tribal maxi I just adore, it's so me! I love love love! Lots of the old cleavage on show in this little number though!

And finally, the blue cross over dress....WINNING! I haven't taken any pics of this, because I am going to save it for when I don't have massive hangover face as I look a right old mess. As soon as I have dressed this bad boy up and the sambuca has finally left my veins, I will get pics, but seriously ladies, this dress is fab! Get on it, and please, Yours, make it in red!!!! So hot!
Also, currently loving the new model Yours is using at the moment, how adorable is she!

Anyway, going to find some munch and have a disco nap! Let me know what you think of the items and if you are looking to indulge in a bit of retail therapy head over to Yours! They are one of my particular fave places to shop just recently, they're stuff is affordable, in a good range of sizes and is very on trend!

OOTD Shoe boots and sequins!

Just a super quick OOTD.

Last night I was having a whinge that I had nothing to wear to go out in (actuality is I have too much choice, that's the real problem!! Typical Libra!)

In the end I went for my new Asos Curve LBD, which I have had my eye on for ages and finally picked it up out of the sale this week! (It has since disappeared off the site, got it just in time so it seems!). Teamed it up with a sequin shrug I had from the Yours clothing sale recently, my Evans peeptoe shoe boots, some accessories and voila, I finally had an outfit!

So there you have it, with that I am going back to suffer my hangover! Happy Sunday!

BIG LOVE!

OOTD...A pretty tunic, or 2 and Fat girl arms!

Hi guys,

Just a quick double outfit post! (I'm getting better at this outfit posting malarky!)

A few weeks ago I picked up a gorgeous tunic from New Look's Inspire range, I threw it on for a casual night out around town with friends and absolutely loved it! About a week later I found myself in New Look, again (I know!) having a nosey through their summer sale rack. Not much caught my eye until I skimmed past something with a really pretty vintage type print. I pulled it off the rail for a closer look, it was the same tunic I had bought a week before but in another print, in my size and on sale!!!! (Wahooooo! I do love me a bargain!)

I knew after loving the cut of the one I had bought the week before that this one was also not going to disappoint, so I left the store a very happy lady! Get ready for the pictures...

*Rose Print Tunic Outfit*

Rose Print Tunic - £22.99 New Look Inspire
Diamante and Pearl Ring set - Primark
Peeptoe Flats - Primark

Clutch - Primark

*Bird Print Tunic Outfit!*

Vintage Bird Print Tunic - £12 New Look Inspire (On sale, also not on their website! Booo!)
Turquoise Ring - £1.50 Boots jewellery concession
Turquoise Owl Necklace - £1.50 Boots jewellery concession

The picture of me wearing the bird print tunic is a bit of a big deal for me. I absolutely hate my arms, I have always been so conscious of my big chubby arms that I am guaranteed to always have them covered up. Why am I so conscious of them? I don't know, but I am. Anyway I was out at the bus stop on Saturday afternoon, it was so hot and I was dying! I knew I needed to get cool and take off my cardigan but I was terrified of what people would think of my fat girl arms. After a quick tweet, and a few replies of encouragement from you lovely people, the cardigan was whipped off and my arms set free, no one stared, no one gawked, no one cared!!!! REFLIEF! What was I so bothered about?! So, the picture above is to document my little personal journey of freeing my bingo wings! Why do we have these little hang ups over absolutely nothing? I have no idea, I don't care about my big tum, my big bum, my double chin, but my arms bug me! Crazy! Any of you ladies out their who have hang-ups, seriously LET.THEM.GO! Life is too short girls! *inspirational speech over* ;)

Anyway, this was meant to be a quick post. Im gonna go now, but also, check out the lovely Laura wearing the rose tunic and see how she is rocking hers! Super gorgeous lady!

Big Love Guys!
